How to uninstall AVG from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AVG is a program released by AVG Technologies. Some computer users want to remove it. This is easier said than done because performing this by hand takes some skill related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best EASY action to remove AVG is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around tool to clean your computer.

• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find AVG or simply activate the Search feature and type in "AVG". If it exists on your system the AVG application will be found automatically. Notice that after you select AVG in the list of applications, the following information regarding the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding AVG, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall AVG.


8. After uninstalling AVG, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of AVG that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
