How to uninstall AVG from your PC

A way to erase AVG from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AVG is a program marketed by AVG Technologies. Some people want to erase this program. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because deleting this manually requires some advanced knowledge related to Windows program uninstallation. • download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications existing on your PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate AVG or simply activate the Search feature and type in "AVG". The AVG app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click AVG in the list , the following data regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding AVG, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove AVG.


8. After uninstalling AVG, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of AVG which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing AVG using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
