A guide to uninstall AVG from your system

Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might be prompted for admin rights. The application's main executable file occupies 732.95 KB (750544 bytes) on disk and is named avgntdumpx.exe.

How to erase AVG from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AVG is an application marketed by AVG Technologies. Some people try to remove this application. Sometimes this can be hard because deleting this manually takes some skill regarding Windows program uninstallation. The best EASY procedure to remove AVG is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general tool to clean your Windows computer.

• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications existing on your computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate AVG or simply activate the Search field and type in "AVG". If it is installed on your PC the AVG application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select AVG in the list , the following information regarding the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding AVG, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall AVG.


8. After uninstalling AVG, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong AVG which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing AVG using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
