How to uninstall AVG from your PC

How to remove AVG with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AVG is an application offered by the software company AVG Technologies. Sometimes, users decide to uninstall it. Sometimes this is troublesome because removing this by hand requires some knowledge regarding PCs. The best QUICK approach to uninstall AVG is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around tool to clean your Windows computer.

• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications installed on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate AVG or simply click the Search field and type in "AVG". The AVG app will be found very quickly. After you click AVG in the list of programs, the following data regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding AVG, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove AVG.


8. After uninstalling AVG, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of AVG that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling AVG using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
