How to uninstall AVG from your PC

A way to remove AVG with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AVG is an application offered by the software company AVG Technologies CZ, s.r.o.. Sometimes, people choose to uninstall it. This is difficult because deleting this by hand takes some experience related to PCs. The best SIMPLE procedure to uninstall AVG is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general tool to take care of your Windows computer.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate AVG or simply click the Search field and type in "AVG". If it exists on your system the AVG program will be found automatically. Notice that after you click AVG in the list of programs, some data regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding AVG, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove AVG.


8. After uninstalling AVG, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong AVG which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing AVG using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
