How to uninstall AVG from your PC

AVG is a program offered by the software company AVG Technologies. Sometimes, computer users try to uninstall this program. 2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools category

5. A list of the programs existing on the computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate AVG or simply click the Search field and type in "AVG". If it exists on your system the AVG app will be found very quickly. After you click AVG in the list , some information regarding the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding AVG, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove AVG.


8. After uninstalling AVG, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of AVG which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling AVG using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
