How to uninstall AVG from your PC

How to delete AVG from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AVG is an application by AVG Technologies. Sometimes, users want to remove it. This is easier said than done because removing this manually requires some knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. 3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs existing on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate AVG or simply activate the Search field and type in "AVG". If it is installed on your PC the AVG program will be found automatically. After you click AVG in the list , some data regarding the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding AVG, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove AVG.


8. After removing AVG, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong AVG that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing AVG with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
