How to remove AVG from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AVG is a program released by the software company AVG Technologies. Some users decide to erase this application. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to clean your Windows system.

• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications installed on your PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate AVG or simply activate the Search feature and type in "AVG". If it exists on your system the AVG application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click AVG in the list of applications, some information regarding the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding AVG, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove AVG.


8. After uninstalling AVG, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong AVG which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling AVG using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
