A way to uninstall AVG from your PC

How to uninstall AVG from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AVG is an application marketed by AVG Technologies. Some computer users choose to uninstall it. Sometimes this is troublesome because doing this by hand requires some advanced knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. The best EASY manner to uninstall AVG is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general utility to optimize your PC.

• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate AVG or simply click the Search field and type in "AVG". If it exists on your system the AVG application will be found very quickly. After you select AVG in the list , some information regarding the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding AVG, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove AVG.


8. After uninstalling AVG, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of AVG that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing AVG using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
