A guide to uninstall AVG from your PC

AVG is a Windows program. Read below about how to uninstall it from your computer. It is developed by AVG Technologies. Further information on AVG Technologies can be found here. Usually the AVG application is found in the C:\Program Files (x86)\AVG\Setup directory, depending on the user's option during install. AVG's complete uninstall command line is C:\Program Files (x86)\AVG\Setup\avgsetupx.exe /mode=offline /uninstall=zen. avgntdumpx.exe is the AVG's main executable file and it occupies around 712.85 KB (729960 bytes) on disk.

How to remove AVG with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AVG is an application offered by AVG Technologies. Sometimes, users decide to erase this application. This is efortful because removing this by hand requires some know-how regarding PCs. One of the best QUICK manner to erase AVG is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to take care of your Windows PC.

• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs existing on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find AVG or simply activate the Search field and type in "AVG". If it exists on your system the AVG program will be found automatically. When you select AVG in the list of applications, some data about the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about AVG, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall AVG.


8. After removing AVG, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong AVG that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling AVG using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
