How to uninstall AVG from your PC

AVG is a Windows program. A way to erase AVG from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AVG is an application released by the software company AVG Technologies. Sometimes, users decide to remove this application. This can be efortful because doing this manually requires some advanced knowledge related to removing Windows programs manually. The best EASY practice to remove AVG is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general tool to clean your Windows system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system utility.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate AVG or simply activate the Search field and type in "AVG". The AVG program will be found automatically. Notice that when you select AVG in the list of programs, some data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding AVG, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove AVG.


8. After removing AVG, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of AVG which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling AVG using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
