A way to uninstall AVG from your PC

AVG is a computer program. Several files, folders and registry data will not be uninstalled when you want to remove AVG from your PC.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

How to erase AVG from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AVG is an application by AVG Technologies. Sometimes, people try to remove this application. 3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications existing on your PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate AVG or simply activate the Search field and type in "AVG". The AVG program will be found automatically. Notice that after you select AVG in the list of apps, the following data about the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about AVG, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall AVG.


8. After uninstalling AVG, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong AVG that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling AVG using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows system will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
