How to uninstall AVG using Advanced Uninstaller PRO
AVG is an application by the software company AVG Technologies CZ, s.r.o.. Some computer users decide to remove this application. Sometimes this is difficult because uninstalling this by hand takes some experience regarding Windows program uninstallation. The best SIMPLE manner to remove AVG is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:
1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general utility to take care of your computer.

- download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
- set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful program.
3. Press the General Tools button
4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature
5. All the programs existing on your PC will be made available to you
6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate AVG or simply click the Search field and type in "AVG". The AVG program will be found very quickly. After you select AVG in the list , some data about the application is made available to you:
- Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about AVG, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
- Technical information about the application you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall AVG.
8. After removing AVG, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong AVG which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing AVG using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
