ActiveSpeed is an application marketed by the software company Ascentive. Sometimes, people decide to remove it. Sometimes this is troublesome because performing this by hand requires some knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. 1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to take care of your Windows system.

  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the applications installed on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find ActiveSpeed or simply click the Search field and type in "ActiveSpeed". If it exists on your system the ActiveSpeed program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click ActiveSpeed in the list , the following information regarding the program is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding ActiveSpeed, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the app you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
