A way to uninstall Ad-Aware with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs installed on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Ad-Aware or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Ad-Aware". If it is installed on your PC the Ad-Aware app will be found very quickly. After you select Ad-Aware in the list of apps, some information regarding the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding Ad-Aware, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Ad-Aware.


8. After removing Ad-Aware, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Ad-Aware that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Ad-Aware with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
