When you're planning to uninstall AdGuard you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.
You should delete the folders below after you uninstall AdGuard:
- C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Temp\Adguard
The files below are left behind on your disk by AdGuard's application uninstaller when you removed it:
- C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Packages\AdGuard.v7.17.4712.0.exe
You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog\Application\Adguard service
Use regedit.exe to remove the following additional registry values from the Windows Registry:
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\bam\State\UserSettings\S-1-5-21-70077204-29962079-949846971-1003\\Device\HarddiskVolume3\Program Files (x86)\Adguard\Adguard.exe

How to uninstall AdGuard from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO
AdGuard is an application marketed by Adguard Software Limited. Sometimes, computer users choose to uninstall it. Sometimes this is hard because performing this manually takes some skill related to removing Windows programs manually. One of the best EASY practice to uninstall AdGuard is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, install it. 3. Press the General Tools button
4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool
5. A list of the programs installed on your PC will be made available to you
6. Scroll the list of programs until you find AdGuard or simply activate the Search field and type in "AdGuard". The AdGuard application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click AdGuard in the list of applications, the following data regarding the application is made available to you:
- Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding AdGuard, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
- Technical information regarding the app you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
- The publisher is: https://adguard.com
- The uninstall string is: MsiExec.exe /X{A8CDCD01-B65F-4169-A3A9-F13EEBA31ED3}
8. After uninstalling AdGuard, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong AdGuard that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing AdGuard with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
Your PC will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
