When planning to uninstall Android Studio you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

The files below are left behind on your disk by Android Studio when you uninstall it:
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Android\Sdk\tools\lib\asset-studio-26.0.0-dev.jar

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Android Studio
