A way to uninstall AnyDVD from your computer

AnyDVD has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

Folders that were left behind:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\SlySoft\AnyDVD
• C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\SlySoft\AnyDVD
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Temp\AnyDVD_tmp
• C:\Users\%user%\Desktop\dzdpv.SlySoft.AnyDVD..AnyDVD.HD.7.5.9.0.Final

Check for and delete the following files from your disk when you uninstall AnyDVD:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\SlySoft\AnyDVD\AddSpeedMenuSkin.exe
• C:\Program Files (x86)\SlySoft\AnyDVD\ADvdDiscHlp.dll
• C:\Program Files (x86)\SlySoft\AnyDVD\ADvdDiscHlp64.dll
• C:\Program Files (x86)\SlySoft\AnyDVD\ADvdDiscHlp64.exe

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.AnyDVD
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MIME\Database\Content Type\application/anydvd
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SlySoft.AnyDVD.1
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SlySoft\AnyDVD

Additional values that are not cleaned:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\AddSpeedMenuSkin.exe\shell\open\command\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\RegAnyDVD.exe\shell\open\command\

A way to remove AnyDVD from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AnyDVD is a program marketed by the software company SlySoft. Some computer users choose to remove this program. Sometimes this can be troublesome because deleting this manually requires some know-how regarding removing Windows programs manually. The best SIMPLE practice to remove AnyDVD is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to clean your system.

• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate AnyDVD or simply click the Search field and type in "AnyDVD". If it exists on your system the AnyDVD program will be found automatically. After you click AnyDVD in the list , the following data about the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about AnyDVD, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for AnyDVD:

• The web site of the application is: http://www.slysoft.com/
• The uninstall string is: "C:\Program Files (x86)\SlySoft\AnyDVD\AnyDVD-uninst.exe" /D="C:\Program Files (x86)\SlySoft\AnyDVD"

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall AnyDVD.


8. After uninstalling AnyDVD, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong AnyDVD which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing AnyDVD with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.
