A way to remove ArcGIS Desktop from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ArcGIS Desktop is a program offered by the software company Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc.. Some computer users try to erase this program. • download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire the program's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find ArcGIS Desktop or simply click the Search field and type in "ArcGIS Desktop". The ArcGIS Desktop app will be found automatically. After you select ArcGIS Desktop in the list , some information about the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about ArcGIS Desktop, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for ArcGIS Desktop:

• The software company is: http://www.esri.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS\Support\Setup.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove ArcGIS Desktop.


8. After removing ArcGIS Desktop, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong ArcGIS Desktop that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing ArcGIS Desktop with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
