A way to uninstall Autodesk Desktop-App from your PC

Following the uninstall process, the application leaves leftovers on the PC. Some of these are listed below.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Autodesk Desktop App

Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional registry values from the Windows Registry:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\AdAppMgrSvc\ImagePath


How to uninstall Autodesk Desktop-App from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Autodesk Desktop-App is a program released by the software company Autodesk. Sometimes, users choose to erase this application. This can be efortful because removing this by hand requires some skill related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best EASY manner to erase Autodesk Desktop-App is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to optimize your system.

  • download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools button

5. All the programs installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Autodesk Desktop-App or simply click the Search feature and type in "Autodesk Desktop-App". If it exists on your system the Autodesk Desktop-App app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select Autodesk Desktop-App in the list of programs, the following information regarding the application is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding Autodesk Desktop-App, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the program you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Autodesk Desktop-App.

8. After removing Autodesk Desktop-App, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Autodesk Desktop-App which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Autodesk Desktop-App using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
