A way to erase Avast AntiTrack from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Avast AntiTrack is a program by Avast Software. Sometimes, users want to erase it. Sometimes this is difficult because deleting this manually takes some advanced knowledge regarding PCs. 1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your Windows system.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Avast AntiTrack or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Avast AntiTrack". The Avast AntiTrack program will be found automatically. After you select Avast AntiTrack in the list of programs, the following information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding Avast AntiTrack, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Avast AntiTrack:

• The publisher is: "http://www.avast.com/"
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avast Software\Icarus\avast-atrk\icarus.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Avast AntiTrack.


8. After removing Avast AntiTrack, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Avast AntiTrack which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Avast AntiTrack using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
