A way to uninstall BOINC from your PC

You can find on this page detailed information on how to uninstall BOINC for Windows. The Windows release was developed by Space Sciences Laboratory, U.C. A way to remove BOINC from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

BOINC is an application offered by the software company Space Sciences Laboratory, U.C. Berkeley. Some users want to erase this program. This is efortful because doing this by hand requires some skill regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best QUICK way to erase BOINC is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general tool to take care of your Windows PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find BOINC or simply click the Search feature and type in "BOINC". The BOINC app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select BOINC in the list of apps, some information regarding the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding BOINC, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for BOINC:

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall BOINC.


8. After uninstalling BOINC, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong BOINC which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling BOINC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your Windows system will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
