How to uninstall BOINC from your system

How to erase BOINC from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

BOINC is an application marketed by Space Sciences Laboratory, U.C. Berkeley. Some people want to remove it. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because removing this by hand requires some knowledge related to PCs. One of the best SIMPLE solution to remove BOINC is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to take care of your computer.

  • go to Download Link
  • download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button

5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find BOINC or simply activate the Search feature and type in "BOINC". The BOINC app will be found very quickly. When you click BOINC in the list of programs, some data regarding the application is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding BOINC, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the application you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove BOINC.

8. After removing BOINC, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong BOINC that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling BOINC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
