Quite a few files, folders and registry entries will be left behind when you want to remove BitTorrent from your computer.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall BitTorrent:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\BitTorrent

Usually, the following files remain on disk:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\BitTorrent\BitTorrent.exe

A way to remove BitTorrent from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find BitTorrent or simply activate the Search field and type in "BitTorrent". The BitTorrent program will be found automatically. After you click BitTorrent in the list of applications, some data regarding the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding BitTorrent, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for BitTorrent:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\BitTorrent\BitTorrent.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove BitTorrent.


8. After uninstalling BitTorrent, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup.
