BitTorrent has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

Usually, the following files are left on disk:

• C:\ProgramUserNameta\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\BitTorrent.lnk

Registry keys:

Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional values from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Users\UserName\AppUserNameta\Roaming\BitTorrent\BitTorrent.exe
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\BitTorrent\DisplayIcon
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\BitTorrent\DisplayName

A way to erase BitTorrent from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

BitTorrent is an application released by BitTorrent Inc.. Sometimes, users decide to erase this program. 7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove BitTorrent.
