A way to remove BitTorrent using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

BitTorrent is an application offered by BitTorrent Inc.. Sometimes, computer users choose to erase this program. This is difficult because uninstalling this manually requires some advanced knowledge related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best QUICK way to erase BitTorrent is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications installed on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find BitTorrent or simply activate the Search field and type in "BitTorrent". The BitTorrent program will be found automatically. Notice that when you click BitTorrent in the list of programs, the following information about the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about BitTorrent, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for BitTorrent:

• The web site of the program is: http://www.bittorrent.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\BitTorrent\BitTorrent.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove BitTorrent.


8. After removing BitTorrent, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong BitTorrent which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling BitTorrent with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
