How to uninstall BlueStacks from your computer

A considerable amount of files, folders and registry data can not be uninstalled when you remove BlueStacks from your computer.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall BlueStacks:
  • C:\Program Files\BlueStacks_nxt

The files below were left behind on your disk when you remove BlueStacks:
  • C:\Program Files\BlueStacks_nxt\BstkDrv_nxt.sys

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppUserModelId\BlueStacks_nxt
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\BlueStacks.Apk
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\BlueStacks.Xapk
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\BlueStacks X
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\BlueStacks_nxt
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\BlueStacks_nxt
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\BlueStacks_nxt

Additional registry values that you should clean:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\BlueStacksDrv_nxt\DisplayName
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\BlueStacksDrv_nxt\ImagePath


How to remove BlueStacks from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding BlueStacks, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove BlueStacks.

8. After removing BlueStacks, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong BlueStacks that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
