How to uninstall Box from your computer

This page contains thorough information on how to remove Box for Windows. The Windows release was created by Box, Inc.. Additional info about Box, Inc. can be seen here. Usually the Box application is placed in the C:\Program Files\Box\Box directory, depending on the user's option during setup. You can uninstall Box by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line MsiExec.exe /X{2597456D-2FAC-436F-B61C-67552653350D}. Note that you might be prompted for admin rights. Box.exe is the Box's primary executable file and it takes close to 6.38 MB (6694560 bytes) on disk.

How to delete Box from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Box is a program marketed by the software company Box, Inc.. Some computer users decide to remove this application. This can be easier said than done because doing this manually takes some advanced knowledge related to Windows program uninstallation. 1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your system.

• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs existing on your PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Box or simply click the Search field and type in "Box". If it exists on your system the Box program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select Box in the list of apps, some data regarding the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding Box, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Box.
