A way to erase CMake from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CMake is an application offered by the software company Kitware. Sometimes, users choose to remove this application. Sometimes this can be efortful because removing this manually requires some skill regarding removing Windows programs manually. The best EASY procedure to remove CMake is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your computer.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature

5. All the programs existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate CMake or simply click the Search feature and type in "CMake". The CMake program will be found automatically. Notice that after you select CMake in the list of applications, the following information regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding CMake, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the program you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove CMake.

8. After uninstalling CMake, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong CMake which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
