A way to remove CMake using Advanced Uninstaller PRO
CMake is a program marketed by the software company Kitware. Some people want to remove it. Sometimes this can be troublesome because doing this manually takes some knowledge related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best EASY way to remove CMake is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:
1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around utility to clean your Windows system.

- download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
- install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire the program's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.
3. Press the General Tools button
4. Press the Uninstall Programs button
5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will appear
6. Navigate the list of applications until you find CMake or simply click the Search field and type in "CMake". If it is installed on your PC the CMake program will be found automatically. After you click CMake in the list of apps, some data regarding the application is made available to you:
- Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding CMake, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
- Details regarding the app you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove CMake.
8. After uninstalling CMake, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong CMake which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing CMake using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
