A guide to uninstall CMake from your PC

You can remove CMake by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line MsiExec.exe /X{554BDF7E-7D1D-48DC-81FD-59B63F330C24}. Keep in mind that you might get a notification for admin rights. cmake-gui.exe is the programs's main file and it takes approximately 4.18 MB (4386304 bytes) on disk.

A way to erase CMake from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO
CMake is an application offered by Kitware. Some users want to uninstall it. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because deleting this by hand requires some experience regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best EASY action to uninstall CMake is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:
1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around utility to clean your computer.
DOWNLOAD NOW- go to Download Link
- download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
- set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire the program's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.
3. Click on the General Tools category
4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature
5. All the applications existing on the PC will be shown to you
6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate CMake or simply activate the Search feature and type in "CMake". The CMake application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select CMake in the list of programs, the following data regarding the application is made available to you:
- Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding CMake, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
- Details regarding the program you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

- The uninstall string is: MsiExec.exe /X{554BDF7E-7D1D-48DC-81FD-59B63F330C24}
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall CMake.
8. After removing CMake, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong CMake that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling CMake with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
Your Windows PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
