How to remove CMake from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO
CMake is a program by Kitware. Some computer users choose to remove this program. Sometimes this is efortful because doing this manually takes some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best SIMPLE solution to remove CMake is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:
1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your Windows PC.

- download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
- set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good PC management program.
3. Press the General Tools category
4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature
5. All the applications existing on the PC will appear
6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate CMake or simply click the Search field and type in "CMake". The CMake application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select CMake in the list of applications, the following information about the application is made available to you:
- Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have about CMake, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
- Technical information about the application you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall CMake.
8. After removing CMake, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of CMake that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling CMake using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
