How to delete CMake with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CMake is a program by Kitware. Sometimes, users want to erase it. Sometimes this is hard because uninstalling this by hand requires some know-how regarding Windows internal functioning. 2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate CMake or simply activate the Search feature and type in "CMake". If it is installed on your PC the CMake application will be found automatically. Notice that after you click CMake in the list , the following data regarding the application is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding CMake, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the program you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall CMake.

8. After removing CMake, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of CMake which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing CMake using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
