How to delete CMake using Advanced Uninstaller PRO
CMake is an application released by Kitware. Some users want to erase this program. Sometimes this can be difficult because deleting this manually takes some skill regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK approach to erase CMake is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:
1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows PC.

3. Press the General Tools category
4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature
5. All the applications installed on your PC will be shown to you
6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate CMake or simply activate the Search feature and type in "CMake". If it is installed on your PC the CMake application will be found very quickly. When you click CMake in the list , the following data regarding the application is available to you:
- Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding CMake, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
- Details regarding the app you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove CMake.
8. After removing CMake, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong CMake which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing CMake with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
