How to uninstall CapCut from your computer

A way to uninstall CapCut with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CapCut is an application released by the software company Bytedance Pte. Ltd.. Some users try to uninstall this application. This can be difficult because uninstalling this manually takes some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best SIMPLE way to uninstall CapCut is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your Windows computer.

• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find CapCut or simply activate the Search feature and type in "CapCut". If it is installed on your PC the CapCut program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click CapCut in the list , the following data about the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about CapCut, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for CapCut:

• The publisher is: www.capcut.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\CapCut\Apps\uninst.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove CapCut.


8. After removing CapCut, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of CapCut that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling CapCut using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
