How to uninstall Carbonite from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Carbonite is an application by Carbonite. Some computer users want to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be efortful because removing this by hand takes some knowledge related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best SIMPLE way to uninstall Carbonite is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs installed on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Carbonite or simply activate the Search field and type in "Carbonite". The Carbonite program will be found automatically. Notice that when you click Carbonite in the list of programs, some information about the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have about Carbonite, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Carbonite:

• The software company is: www.carbonite.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Carbonite\Carbonite Backup\CarboniteSetup.exe /remove

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Carbonite.


8. After uninstalling Carbonite, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Carbonite that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Carbonite using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your Windows PC will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
