CheckDrive is a computer program. Following the uninstall process, the application leaves leftovers on the PC. Some of these are listed below.

Directories found on disk:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\CheckDrive
• C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\CheckDrive
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Abelssoft\CheckDrive
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Abelssoft\CheckDrive

Check for and remove the following files from your disk when you uninstall CheckDrive:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\CheckDrive\AbApi.dll
• C:\Program Files (x86)\CheckDrive\AbBugReporter.dll
• C:\Program Files (x86)\CheckDrive\AbCommons.dll
• C:\Program Files (x86)\CheckDrive\AbFlexTrans.dll

Generally the following registry keys will not be cleaned:

A way to erase CheckDrive using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CheckDrive is a program marketed by Abelssoft. Sometimes, users want to remove it. This can be efortful because removing this manually takes some advanced knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. The best SIMPLE way to remove CheckDrive is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to take care of your system.

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate CheckDrive or simply activate the Search field and type in "CheckDrive". If it exists on your system the CheckDrive app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select CheckDrive in the list of programs, the following data about the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about CheckDrive, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for CheckDrive:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\CheckDrive\unins000.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove CheckDrive.


8. After uninstalling CheckDrive, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong CheckDrive which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing CheckDrive with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your system.
