How to uninstall Chromium from your PC

Keep in mind that this path can differ being determined by the user's decision. You can uninstall Chromium by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Chromium\Application\79.0.3925.0\Installer\setup.exe. Note that you might be prompted for admin rights. Chromium's primary file takes around 1.58 MB (1653760 bytes) and is named chrome.exe.

A way to remove Chromium with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Chromium is an application marketed by The Chromium Authors. Some computer users decide to uninstall this application. Sometimes this is hard because deleting this manually requires some advanced knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning.   • download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button

3. Press the General Tools button

5. All the programs installed on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Chromium or simply click the Search field and type in "Chromium". The Chromium app will be found automatically. When you select Chromium in the list of applications, some data about the application is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have about Chromium, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the app you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Chromium.

8. After removing Chromium, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Chromium which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Chromium with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.
