How to uninstall Config Advisor from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Config Advisor is a program released by NetApp. Frequently, users choose to remove this program. This can be easier said than done because doing this by hand requires some advanced knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. The best QUICK manner to remove Config Advisor is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to optimize your system.

  • download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the applications installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Config Advisor or simply activate the Search field and type in "Config Advisor". If it is installed on your PC the Config Advisor application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select Config Advisor in the list of programs, the following data regarding the program is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding Config Advisor, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the application you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

8. After removing Config Advisor, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Config Advisor that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
