How to uninstall Config Advisor from your system

Note that you might receive a notification for administrator rights. ConfigAdvisor.exe is the programs's main file and it takes close to 9.77 MB (10241912 bytes) on disk.

A way to erase Config Advisor using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Config Advisor is a program by the software company NetApp. Some people choose to erase this application. Sometimes this is difficult because performing this manually takes some knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best EASY way to erase Config Advisor is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general tool to optimize your computer.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the programs existing on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Config Advisor or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Config Advisor". If it is installed on your PC the Config Advisor program will be found automatically. Notice that when you select Config Advisor in the list of programs, the following information regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding Config Advisor, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the application you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
For example you can see that for Config Advisor:





  • The publisher is: http://www.netapp.com
  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\NetApp\ConfigAdvisor\uninst.exe
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Config Advisor.

8. After removing Config Advisor, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Config Advisor that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Config Advisor with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
