A way to uninstall CurseForge from your computer

CurseForge has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

The files below are left behind on your disk by CurseForge when you uninstall it:

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Tracing\curseforge_RASMANCS
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting\LocalDumps\curseforge.exe

Registry values that are not removed from your PC:

A way to erase CurseForge with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CurseForge is an application released by Overwolf app. Some users decide to erase it. Sometimes this can be efortful because deleting this manually takes some knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. The best QUICK procedure to erase CurseForge is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to maximize the performance of your system.

• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find CurseForge or simply click the Search field and type in "CurseForge". The CurseForge app will be found automatically. Notice that when you click CurseForge in the list , some information regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding CurseForge, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove CurseForge.


8. After uninstalling CurseForge, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong CurseForge that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling CurseForge using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.
