How to uninstall CurseForge from your system

CurseForge is a Windows application. Read more about how to uninstall it from your computer. The Windows release was developed by Overwolf app. You can find out more on Overwolf app or check for application updates here. Usually the CurseForge application is found in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Overwolf folder, depending on the user's option during setup. You can remove CurseForge by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files (x86)\Overwolf\OWUninstaller.exe --uninstall-app=cchhcaiapeikjbdbpfplgmpobbcdkdaphclbmkbj. Keep in mind that you might be prompted for administrator rights. CurseForge's main file takes around 1.76 MB (1842952 bytes) and is named OverwolfLauncher.exe.

A way to remove CurseForge from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CurseForge is a program offered by the software company Overwolf app. Some computer users decide to remove this application. Sometimes this can be troublesome because uninstalling this manually takes some advanced knowledge related to Windows program uninstallation. The best SIMPLE way to remove CurseForge is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your computer.

• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire the program's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find CurseForge or simply click the Search feature and type in "CurseForge". If it is installed on your PC the CurseForge app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select CurseForge in the list of applications, the following information about the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about CurseForge, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove CurseForge.


8. After uninstalling CurseForge, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong CurseForge which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing CurseForge with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
