A guide to uninstall DAS from your computer

Note that you might receive a notification for admin rights. das_gui_perfmeter.exe is the programs's main file and it takes close to 234.23 KB (239856 bytes) on disk.

If you are manually uninstalling DAS we advise you to check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Folders left behind when you uninstall DAS:

• C:\Program Files\DAS64

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the keys below:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{bd113cf6-67f6-4c90-bcf7-2871ce6be7ba}

Open regedit.exe in order to remove the following registry values:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\Folders\C:\Program Files\DAS64\others\driver\ftdi\
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\Folders\C:\Program Files\DAS64\others\driver\usb_das_b1\
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\Folders\C:\Program Files\DAS64\others\driver\usb_htx_das_a1\

A way to delete DAS from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

DAS is a program marketed by Infineon Technologies AG. Frequently, people try to uninstall it. • download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate DAS or simply click the Search feature and type in "DAS". If it exists on your system the DAS app will be found automatically. Notice that after you click DAS in the list of programs, the following data about the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about DAS, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for DAS:

• The web site of the application is: http://www.infineon.com
• The uninstall string is: MsiExec.exe /I{6261B021-B25B-47FC-8494-BF23A36A9E1E}

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove DAS.


8. After removing DAS, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong DAS that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing DAS using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
