Driver Support has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

Folders found on disk after you uninstall Driver Support from your PC:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Driver Support
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Driver Support

Generally, the following files are left on disk:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Driver Support\Agent.Common.dll
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Driver Support\Agent.Common.XmlSerializers.dll
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Driver Support\Agent.Communication.dll
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Driver Support\Agent.Communication.XmlSerializers.dll

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\DriverSupport

Open regedit.exe in order to remove the following values:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\DriverSupport\DisplayIcon
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\DriverSupport\HelpLink
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\DriverSupport\InstallLocation
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\DriverSupport\UninstallString

A way to delete Driver Support with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Driver Support is a program offered by PC Drivers HeadQuarters LP. Sometimes, people try to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because uninstalling this manually requires some know-how related to removing Windows applications by hand. 4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications installed on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Driver Support or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Driver Support". The Driver Support app will be found automatically. After you select Driver Support in the list of applications, some information about the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about Driver Support, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Driver Support.


8. After uninstalling Driver Support, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Driver Support that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Driver Support using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
