A way to remove ESET Smart Security with Advanced Uninstaller PRO
ESET Smart Security is a program by ESET, spol s r. o.. Frequently, computer users want to uninstall this program. This is easier said than done because doing this by hand requires some knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best SIMPLE procedure to uninstall ESET Smart Security is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:
1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general tool to clean your system.

- download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
- install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.
3. Press the General Tools button
4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button
5. All the applications existing on your PC will appear
6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate ESET Smart Security or simply activate the Search field and type in "ESET Smart Security". If it exists on your system the ESET Smart Security program will be found automatically. After you click ESET Smart Security in the list of programs, some information about the application is available to you:
- Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about ESET Smart Security, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
- Technical information about the app you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove ESET Smart Security.
8. After removing ESET Smart Security, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of ESET Smart Security which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling ESET Smart Security with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.
