How to uninstall Energy Star from your PC

A way to uninstall Energy Star from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Energy Star is an application released by Hewlett-Packard Company. Some users decide to erase it. This is troublesome because removing this by hand takes some know-how related to Windows program uninstallation. The best QUICK manner to erase Energy Star is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your Windows computer.

• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Energy Star or simply activate the Search field and type in "Energy Star". If it exists on your system the Energy Star program will be found automatically. Notice that when you click Energy Star in the list of programs, some information regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding Energy Star, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Energy Star.


8. After removing Energy Star, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Energy Star which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Energy Star using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
