If you are manually uninstalling F-Secure we advise you to verify if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Directories that were found:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\F-Secure\SAFE
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\F-Secure

The files below remain on your disk by F-Secure's application uninstaller when you removed it:

• C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\F-SECURE\SAFE\_fs_se_hotfix.exe
• C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\F-SECURE\SAFE\0_ccf.cr
• C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\F-SECURE\SAFE\about
• C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\F-SECURE\SAFE\ActionCenter.cfg

Registry that is not removed:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\F-Secure
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\F-Secure

Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional registry values from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog\Application\FSecure-FSecure-F-Secure Anti-Virus\EventMessageFile
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog\Application\FSecure-FSecure-F-Secure DeepGuard\EventMessageFile
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog\Application\FSecure-FSecure-F-Secure Management Agent\EventMessageFile

A way to delete F-Secure using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

F-Secure is an application released by F-Secure Corporation. Some people choose to remove this application. • download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire the program's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs existing on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate F-Secure or simply activate the Search feature and type in "F-Secure". If it exists on your system the F-Secure application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select F-Secure in the list of programs, the following data about the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have about F-Secure, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
