How to uninstall GOM Player from your computer

GOM Player has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

The files below remain on your disk by GOM Player's application uninstaller when you removed it:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\GOM Player.lnk
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\GOM Player.lnk

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\DVD\shell\Play with GOM Player
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\GOM Player

Registry values that are not removed from your computer:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\e:\Program Files\GOM\GOMPlayer\GOM.exe

A way to erase GOM Player with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have about GOM Player, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove GOM Player.


8. After uninstalling GOM Player, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong GOM Player that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
