A way to uninstall GeoGebra from your system

Some files and registry entries are regularly left behind when you remove GeoGebra.

The files below were left behind on your disk when you remove GeoGebra:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\GeoGebra\geogebra.exe

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the data below:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JavaSoft\Prefs\geogebra

Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional values from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files (x86)\GeoGebra\geogebra.exe

How to uninstall GeoGebra from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GeoGebra is a program by the software company International GeoGebra Institute. Some users try to erase it. This is troublesome because performing this manually requires some skill regarding Windows program uninstallation. The best SIMPLE action to erase GeoGebra is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general utility to take care of your Windows PC.

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate GeoGebra or simply activate the Search field and type in "GeoGebra". If it exists on your system the GeoGebra app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click GeoGebra in the list of apps, some information about the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about GeoGebra, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\GeoGebra\uninstaller.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove GeoGebra.


8. After uninstalling GeoGebra, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong GeoGebra which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling GeoGebra using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
