How to uninstall GeoGebra from your computer

GeoGebra is a Windows application. Read below about how to remove it from your computer. It was coded for Windows by International GeoGebra Institute. Further information on International GeoGebra Institute can be found here. Please follow http://www.geogebra.org/ if you want to read more on GeoGebra on International GeoGebra Institute's web page. GeoGebra is commonly set up in the C:\Program Files\GeoGebra directory, however this location can vary a lot depending on the user's decision while installing the application. You can uninstall GeoGebra by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files\GeoGebra\uninstaller.exe. Keep in mind that you might get a notification for administrator rights. The application's main executable file is titled geogebra.exe and it has a size of 173.15 KB (177304 bytes).

A way to uninstall GeoGebra from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GeoGebra is an application marketed by the software company International GeoGebra Institute. Sometimes, users want to remove this application. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because doing this by hand takes some advanced knowledge related to removing Windows programs manually. One of the best QUICK manner to remove GeoGebra is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your computer.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs installed on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate GeoGebra or simply activate the Search field and type in "GeoGebra". The GeoGebra program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select GeoGebra in the list of apps, some information regarding the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding GeoGebra, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for GeoGebra:

• The publisher is: http://www.geogebra.org/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\GeoGebra\uninstaller.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall GeoGebra.


8. After removing GeoGebra, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of GeoGebra which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing GeoGebra with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
